JStarz Training and Soccer House proudly present the U18 1v1 Championship — a high-energy individual tournament built for players who back their skills, creativity, confidence, and finishing under pressure.

This is not your typical tournament.

This is your chance to test yourself in fast-paced 1v1 battles, showcase your game, win prizes, and earn your spot in the final All Star showcase match.

Time: 11:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Location: BMO Soccer Centre, Halifax
Age Group: U18
Capacity: 48 players ONLY
Entry Fee: $20 + HST ($22.80 total)

Tournament Format

Phase 1: Group Stage – Street Football Mode

Players will be placed into groups and compete in a fast-paced mini-net group stage.

• Multiple 1v1 games running simultaneously
• 4-minute matches
• No keepers
• Fast transitions
• High touches
• Creativity encouraged
• Nutmegs count

Each player receives:

✅ Minimum 3 guaranteed games
✅ Opportunity to qualify for knockout rounds
✅ Chance to compete for individual awards

Top 2 players from each group advance.

Phase 2: Knockout Showcase – Pressure Finishing

The tournament levels up.

Knockout matches move to larger nets with live goalkeepers.

Now it’s about:

• finishing under pressure
• composure
• attacking confidence
• decision making
• beating real opposition in showcase conditions

Format:

• Single elimination knockout
• 4-minute matches
• Golden goal if tied

Final Event Showcase

The day ends with:

The top 14 players from the event will be selected to compete in a featured All Star showcase game.

This is your chance to earn recognition, bragging rights, and finish the day as one of the event’s standout players.
